This is a bunch of doodles made from time to time , testing a box of aqua markers, color pencils and pentel fine markers. Just to be some time in front of a real paper after hours of computer work.
Here is the link to the video of sketchtravel. What´s that? Just play the video, and follow the links on my previous posts and my own link section. They also have made a beautifull wood box to keep it! O---o
Hugue honor for me to be part of it, as you may understand.
Another of the illustratiosn made for the book "Chroniques de Sillage 3 " (see previous posts). This one introduced the greatly stylized story of the spanish artist Pedro J. Colombo.
Now working on the color of page 33 of the new book, just in the half way to finish it. This is one of the panels of that page, one I enjoyed a lot to do.
Thanks to Pierre Alary, who introduced me , and Gerald Guerlais , who gently invited me to join it, now I´m honored to be one of the "Sketch Travel" guests. You don´t know what is all about? Please, take a minute to visit the site, as it worths the time: www.sketchtravel.com
Hi! Back from holidays! How are you?...That bad? hum... Well, well... This is a "brush-test" I did some time ago, directly on Painter. The model was my cat "Manchi": she was sleeping on my legs during the process!!
The 62 pages of the new book are ready to be colored. Here is a sample of some, mixed with storyboard pages, and a fun provisional logo. Now is time for holidays (for me that means working on another place ,sigh!), so this blog will be really boring during some time. Have nice holidays everybody, and see you soon!
The past weekend, the third book of OZ received an award on the first Festival of BD at Lyon. To say it in four words: great city, very nice people, and this beautifull gift. Merci beaucoup! :)
This is one of the ink tests I did when I was thinking on doing my next album that way. This is the main character design, but please don´t look at his huge ear! :P Thanks for all the support received.
