Totoro Forest Project ( updated: BLOG! )

Again thanks to Guerald Guerlais and Dice Tsutsumi, I´m involved in something great: an art auction to help saving a forest. The forest that inspired Mr. Hayao Miyazaki to make his masterpiece "My Neighbour Totoro": the Sayama Forest !!
Everything is better and fully explained on the oficial website : http://totoroforestproject.org/
And this is my part on it. Watercolors and markers .
UPDATE : There´s a blog created to bring fresh news about the show and many curious things and profiles of some of the artists involved.
The tickets to attend the show have been sold out in less than 48 hours! Woah....

Pero mejor que os lo cuente ella, que para eso se lo ha currado muchísimo , como siempre. Un abrazo enorme, Susana!! :)
PD: Si alguien puede aportar más informacion, fotos, etc. será bien recibido. Todo lo que sea! ;)

Holidays

The 62 pages of the new book are ready to be colored. Here is a sample of some, mixed with storyboard pages, and a fun provisional logo.
Now is time for holidays (for me that means working on another place ,sigh!), so this blog will be really boring during some time.
Have nice holidays everybody, and see you soon!

Self-promotion?No shame?...of course! :)

Have a great new year everybody!:D
Here ,some storyboards from the last book of Oz, the volume 3 that is going to be released this week in France. This part of the process is where I find more fun, as it is where it´s decided almost everything after the script, and you can feel you are "creating" something.

The End?
The last week I finished the volume 3 of this books of OZ. It´s a strange feeling when you have been involved on something that deep, where you have put so much of yourself, and it arrives to the end. Maybe I should say "sad but proud"...Anyway, from here I would like to say thanks to all the people who has been supporting and encouraging me during the hard work, starting with my dear friends David Chauvel and Thomas Ragon, who have been so great that have made of this work something really special ; and let me say a big thank you to all the people at the forums of "Artbox" , "Catsuka" ,"CafeSalé" and "Naimoka" for being so nice and warm. And of course to all the people visiting this blog, near 68.000 visits from the begginning until today, and from many, many countries that I´m really impressed (And when I think I wasn´t sure that this blog would be a good idea!:-D). Thank you so much!
Now is my time to have a little rest and prepare the coming projects (don´t ask! it´s a secret! ;P) . I´ll keep posting here all what I can. It´s a pleasure!
